Hi there!

My name's Westly, and I'm trying to lose 145lbs. Total. I'm THRILLED with how this site has helped me so far! I'm already down 18 lbs. I believe that it's being held accountable by my numbers that's helping me figure out how much food I should be eating. Now I have a slight problem with not eating enough!!

I'm also a HUGE believer in the Gabriel Method, so I don't "diet" I just LIVE! I still eat my greasy cheeseburgers and fries and stuff when I really want to, but having started eating veggies, I just...haven't really wanted to!

I totally recommend folks read it, if only for picking up the positive visualization part of it! It's truly an awesome book!

Best of luck, and you have to find a balance of what you are used to eating (maybe smaller portions or finding better ways to make it) to be able to stick to it long term,

    Best of luck

Way to go, I feel the same way, I've been on a "diet" all of my adult life and most of my teen years and all I've managed to do is gain more and more weight each year. This year, with the help of this website, I have made much better choices, but I am eating the foods I want to eat, not the card board I was accustomed to eating on a diet.

  • Hi Wes! I'm so proud of you!

When I deprive myself of things I crave I end up binging, but lately I've been able to have things in smaller amounts and feel just as satisfied. This site is really great for allowing you to "budget" for those occasional treats and not blow your whole day :)
