Swimming

I am trying to get into lap swimming as a form of aerobic exercise. The only problem is I've never been a super strong swimmer (I took swimming lessons as a kid but that was almost 10 years ago). Does anyone have any tips for getting into it again and improving my swimming in general?

Look for a masters swim program in your area. I started earlier this year. When I started, I could get from A to B, but that was about it. A few months of coached practice and now I'm pretty darn good.0

I just started taking swim lessons recently... I'm sure there is a place by you that offers them... I googled it and found a pool through the city by me that teaches it. It wasn't too much either, even for private lessons(I'm too self conscious to take a group lesson!). I fell in the river a few wks ago while SUP... I had a life jacket but figured knowing how to swim might come in handy again lol0
