Hi
Can anyone recommend a breakfast cereal that is under 200 cals but also very filling (other than porridge). OR can anyone recommend a breakfast that is just as quick, low in cals and very filling.
I eat breakfast about 7.15 and by 10 I am feeling hungry - that's when the temptation for snacking comes in. If I could find something that would keep me full until lunch (12.30) it would be great..
Oh forgot to mention - I am in the UK so needs to be things available here.
Thanks everyone

Is Fiber One available in the UK? I really like that stuff. Also try All-bran. It looks like cardboard, but I enjoy the taste, especially with a sliced banana in it.0

I'd forget cereals.
Protein will be the best bet for keeping you feeling fuller longer - eggs are great, really verstaile, you can scramble some in the microwave in under 2 minutes and add any amount of flavourings - spinach, mushrroms, tomatoes, little cheese.
Ham is another good option - coupleofo slices with some tomatoes.
Bacon, but choose the less fatty cuts.
Fish is a classic breakfast dish - smoked salmon or trout, or mackerel.
Greek yoghurt with berries, or even cottage cheese. Or any of a number of similar products like fromage frais or quark (Sainsburys do loads of these)0 -
Thanks for your help. I think I may give the protein a try. Never thought of using the microwave for scrambled eggs - and I suspect if I added mushrooms and / or tomatoes it would bulk it up for hardly any calories.0
