Hi Everyone,
3 years ago i became an ovo-lacto vegetarian (eggs and milk ect but no fish or meat) when i was on holiday. Became pregnant in May last year and as soon as i found out i started eating meat and fish for the health of my baby as i dont do pills or medacines so vitamins were out the window. this was fine by me but now ive had my little girl and shes 6 months old in 2 weeks time i want to get back to my regular diet.
The trouble im finding is now im effectively cutting down on my meat and fish and introducing the same as i ate before im getting very stuck on recipes and things to eat as im very fussy on what i consume.
i hate humous and tofu and all that stuff i find it ..... bleugh, so my diet basically consists of vegetables, VERY LITTLE fruit, pasta, rice, eggs, milk, cheese and yogurt.
if you have any meals that you love that you could recommend i would be very grateful. :flowerforyou:

look for Indian food recipies (you can make it not spicy) a lot of them are vegtarian , will be a change in taste
I am also ovo-lacto vege ... didnt know there was a name for it haha
Yes I am Indian0 -
Do you eat beans? I went vege after my son was born and I made a lot of things with beans and quinoa. Corn and black bean enchiladas was a weekly dish. Quinoa loaded with broccoli, carrots, artichokes - whatever veggies I could get my hands on. Spaghetti squash in place of pasta, homemade veggie pizza.0

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarianism
many different types under "varieties of vegetarianism" if you scroll down
an now i may tell the silly little people who think they no everything to shove it where the potatoes dont shine and go back to my ovo-lacto dinner *said in a very stuck up snooty manner* TEEHEE0 -
