Success this week

I've been struggling using WW points so I decided to try this site/app at the suggestion of another former WW using friend. When you see the calories, sugar, etc. of the "free fruit and unlimited veggie" feature of the WW program, I understand why I struggled to lose weight on that program. A few years back when they made you count the points for ALL ingested food, I had great success.

My biggest hurdle this week was staying away from my "go to" relaxation/distress strategy; a bottle of Chardonnay! LOL I incorporated more movement, including 2 dogs walks and 2 walks on my lunch hour. I enjoyed a local classic city park and a farmers market instead of eating at my desk and sitting on my butt all day.

I lost 4.2 pounds this week just counting calories, removing wine and diet pop, and moving more. Baby steps, one day at a time.

I used to be on WW too. I have had better success with this site. Feel free to add me. I do love my wine as well :)

Hi there, I, too, am a WW lifer, but need to lose about 45 pounds now. I'm finding the daily support from this site to be very motivating, although I have been SO strict and have not lost much weight yet. (I've only been on it for 2 weeks!). Anyway, I LOVE wine but have sworn off it till I get down at least 20 lbs. People say the summer is too hard to give up wine and beer, but actually, ANYTIME seems to be, so I decided to give it a good go now, rather than to wait till the fall when I return to school (I'm a teacher) and then battle the old "nothing fits" scenario. I have decided to be super active. I'm exercising two or three times a day; bootca.mp, swimming and golf. I feel better already, and you will too. I am faithfully tracking, which really seems to help. (I even track when I overeat or eat the wrong thing, but exercise usually cancels it out.)
You WILL do it. All the best,
    Sue
