C'mon! Who's with me?! Whether you're starting P90X or another program lets motivate and cheer each other on!!! I have about 45lbs to lose and love a good competition, it's great for motivation!!! We can talk about the ups and downs, food cravings, muscles, fitting into smaller clothes, we can post before, during and after pics and maybe even make a few new friends!

I started P90X a week ago ... but I would love to join in for motivation, encouragement and even a little competition! I run three times a week (c210K) as well.0

I just started today. I think I'll do the Lean program. (I started on Day 6, though, so that normally Sunday will be my day off. But tomorrow I'll run to keep up the momentum.) Today was KenpoX.
I've done P90X, the full program, including nutrition, once, about 5 years ago. I've done a month of it several times since. I don't know if I'll do the full 90 days or not.
My goals are to get more lean, and to strengthen my upper body since I usually run so my legs are strong but my arms aren't.
I'd be interested in hearing people's menu for the day along with the program if anyone is following the Nutrition Plan.
Today:
Breakfast: 1/2 portion oatmeal (Hungry Girl style, with double the liquid, double cooking time), with peanut butter (I called it a protein) and homemade apple butter (a fruit) = 1/2 Carb, 1 protein, 1 fruit, and 1/4 dairy
Lunch: ww toast topped with tuna salad (3 oz. tuna, 1 tbsp. plain greek yogurt) and melted cheese and salsa; and a pear =1/2 carb, 1 protein, 3/4 dairy, 1 fruit
Snack: chocolate protein shake made with skim milk, and a little bit of cinnamon and instant coffee granules =1 protein, 1 dairy
Dinner: Taco meat and toppings served in avocado halves=2 protein, 1 dairy, 1 "snack" (avocado)
Totals: 5 protein, 1 Carb, 0 Vegetables , 2 Fruit, 3 Dairy, 1 "Snack"
Goal: 5 protein, 1 Carb, 2 Vegetables, 2 Fruit, 2 Dairy, 1 Snack, (+1 Condiment, 1 Fat, which I don't count, but assume I get)0 -

This'll be my 4th time starting P90X...I haven't made it past week 5 before but I will this time, I get great results but it kind of fizzles out for me after the 1st month and I lose interest but I just read an article and it said if you eat the same foods all time your body will get used to it and you'll stop losing, so you have to change your foods just like you have to change up your workouts. I have about 45 pounds to lose too so we can def help eachother out!0 -
I'll be starting GSP Rushfit tomorrow, 8 weeks of 45 minute intense workout0

I tried the diet plan that it comes with and it's not for me. I'm just enjoying clean eating (no processed foods or at least very little), I'll track my diet on here, my diary is open to friends. Feel free to add me as a friend everyone! The more the merrier!0

I will check it out, thanks! I really think clean eating is the best way to go, not just for a temporary diet but for life.0

Same here but small changes at a time make all difference, I know I didn't gain all this weight in over night so I don't expect to lose it over night either....and I really like to have my drinks so i'll still be having them but i'll limit it to once a wk and maybe go for lighter versions....maybe. Lol0

yeah i guess everything in moderation0

BTW - I have no idea how to post my before pic on here....do you guys know?0

I'm starting P90X on September 30. Right now I'm doing Power Half Hour and walking. In a week or two, I plan on adding 10 minute trainer in order to prepare myself. I'll be doing the lean schedule and I'm trying to figure out what I will do after finishing it. I'm thinking P90X2 or redoing the original again.0

were you going to start a group on here?0
