I have found a trick that helps me get through the process of cooking dinner. I budget for a cup of some sort of fruit (cantaloupe, grapes, pineapple etc.) and I nibble on that while I cook. I drink that with a glass of water, it helps me not to eat what I am cooking and when I do sit down to dinner, it helps me to not over eat. Just thought I would share my little strategy
