Can you help me pick out an *okay* option from this menu?

So, I want to stay within 700 calories, max, for dinner, but my friends and I are going out tonight D: what can I get that's reasonable, and that isn't a salad? Thank so much!

it's impossible to knwo their calorie counts but I think I'd go with one of the non breaded chicken items and ask them to replace the potatoes with a salad or more veggies and ask them to be very sparing with the oil.

either that or the spaghetti pomodoro

When I go out to eat i generally ask if I can just have a chicken breast and some veggies. they usually will comply even if it's not exactly on their menu. Last time I went out to eat at a rather expensive restaurant my grilled asparagus and chicken breast ended up costing 6 bucks as a side. LOL

    The Salmone
    Brick Roasted Chicken
Gamberi Olio... whatever. Shrimp and sketti.

Grilled food will usually be lowest calories. I say usually cause of course if it is marinated in fat, then it isn't. Plus a roasted something or other could be low cal too.
Sauteed-> can be iffy. Needs oil or butter?

    HTH.

    Kidding.
    Spaghetti no meat.

Eliminating the bread/pasta will save a lot of calories. You could order one of the pasta dishes over vegetables instead of pasta or the burger wrapped in lettuce. Most Italian places are pretty accommodating to special requests so you could always just ask for a piece of chicken/fish/steak grilled or prepared dry and a side of veggies or something. Have fun!!!

I would go for the Salmone with a salad rather than mashed potatoes and the horseradish replaced with lemon.
I'm full but thinking about that just made my appetite come back, lol.
    Have fun!

It's impossible to say without seeing the portion sizes, but assuming they're big like most Italian restaurants then you could order a pasta entree and just eat half of it. If it were me I would order a couple of appetizers - probably the caprese and the mussels...unless I was having wine, then just one appetizer, and skip the bread basket altogether. That is unless it was my free day, then I would just have bread, wine, an entree and maybe even dessert and just not worry about it.

Oh wow that's expensive! I'd get a salad with dressing on the side, or the salmon, I guess.

Avoid the pasta, mashed potatoes, and anything with cream or cheese emphasized.

Or just order what you like and go for a longer run tomorrow.

I'd go with the salmon or the roasted chicken. You could also just eat half your entree, which was previously suggested.

Eating half of the Spaghetti Pomodoro sounds like a good option.

If it were me, I would order the Salmon, and ask for it to be prepared without any butter or oil (simply grilled) with a side of steamed vegetables (again, specify with no oil or butter). I do that all the time. Also, if you want more than that, order a house salad without cheese or dressing (and either get balsamic vinegar, not vinaigrette or bring your own dressing).

I would get the caprese app and one of the salads with grilled chicken (or which ever protein you wanted).

ETA - dressings on the side.
