Fat VS. Muscle

I read a while back about muscle weighing more than fat. I take part in 6 hours of Zumba a week. I'm using MFP for eating plan. Is there a article that can explain the muscle principle? I'm holding at the same number on my weight, but I'm losing inches like crazy....

A pound of fat and a pound of muscle are both still a pound...it's the volume that's different. That's why you are see all those inches disappear

I don't how to insert pictures but just Google "pound of muscle, pound of fat"
You'll get lots of pictures that should help you visualize why you weigh the same but are getting smaller.

    Weali is correct...

If you lost weight and stalled out, it is doubtful that muscle mass is the culprit. Muscle mass is extremely hard to gain. Cardio programs (such as Zumba), and eating at a deficit will assure you are not gaining mass.

Muscles retain water for repair post exercise, and this is normally the issue when inches are being lost, but the scale isn't moving.
