not new but finally staying on track

Hello mfp's
I am not new on this site( I have been on and off for a while now) but I'm ready to go all in and I've been doing great for a while ( 18 lbs lost). I'm sure my story is probably like most peoples,i am 30, a mom with 2 kids and a husband to take care of, a crazy career with a crazy work schedule ( i am a profesional chef) and trying to loose the last of the weight i gained from having my daughter ( she just turned 3!! don't judge my lengthy weight recovery!! lol) Before having my daughter i was about 165, and I'm 5'6. I have always been curvey, or what people would consider "thick", and I was happy that way, I looked good in my clothes, but I always wanted to tone up, maybe be curvy/athletic??( if thats possible?) When I was pregnant with my daughter , i got up to 230 lbs, after having here I was at 215, at the moment I'm at 188 but I feel like 150-155 would be best for me. I currently go to the gym about 5 days a week, and I do cardio, and use Striiv to calculate my calories burned. I have p90x and turbofire at home, which I always start, but I have trouble keeping it going.I try to eat good, but I'm am the executive chef of a state university so I'm surrounded by food all day, it's tough!! And chocolate is my downfall!! I do a cheat day once a week ,and try to stay healthy the rest of the week, but the temptation is always there and it's crazy.. Anyway, I'm looking for friends to help keep me on track, motivated, and give me the extra kick in the *kitten* i constantly need..Please add me!!

good luck! I'm a cake decorator so I have junk food around me all the time at work too. I am trying to live vegetarian (vegan & raw vegan) most of the time.

Hi, sent you a request! I'm in a similar boat in that I've been around for a while but I'm now buckling down for a second attempt at losing weight. Losing weight is hard enough but I'm sure it's even harder when you're a professional chef...my ex was a cook and I credit all the weight I gained to his excellent cooking!
