Concerns stretch marks & what happens as you lose the weight

I gained a lot of weight due to a thyroid issue, and that same issue has made it difficult to lose weight as well! As a result, i have stretch marks all over (stomach, sides, outside of breasts, on my thighs a little). I use coconut oil daily, and they are mostly faded by now. I am still losing weight, and I am curious if anyone knows if as I lose more belly fat etc. will they become less noticeable? Mostly because I feel like my belly stretches them out so that is why they are so visible still, even if they are silvery/white. So if anyone has any experience with getting A LOT of stretch marks from weight gain, I'd like to know how they look now once you lost a bunch of weight!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!

I have some. I gained a lot of fat, fast. They definitely fade over time. Now I look at them as battle scars from a past life of which I plan to never return.0

I have some on my sides but they have been fading! They can scar and stay forever but I say keep moisturizing and hopefully they will be gone forever!0

They will fade to some extent, and they won't be stretched anymore as you get smaller which will cause them to be less visible. They will not go away entirely. It's where the skin has stretched and it's a scar. I have a few photos in my profile of what mine look like. I was pretty big when I was pregnant. I have stretch marks behind my knees, all over my hips, inside of my thighs all the way up to my belly button. My vertical stretch marks from the first pregnancy got their own horizontal stretch marks from the second. I don't mind them and if anyone ever said anything to me I would tell them where they could go stretch it.
ETA : Photo, as the photo in my profile is too small to really see anything

EVERYONE has stretch marks. Everyone. Even the skinniest people and models have them. They happen when there's any rapid growth and I got my first few when I was 13 and not fat. My darling husband has a few on his thighs and he's never been significantly overweight. (And that's why Hollywood and Playboy has body make-up to cover them up!)
We all have them, so if you're worried about them, don't be. If someone is so shallow as to say something, it's because they aren't comfortable with their marks.0 -
I have some on my hips and stomach (pregnancy). They fade with time and become less noticable but unfortunately they are here to stay!0

Strech marks DO fade pretty well. I look like i got mauled by a wild animal during my first pregnancy. It was pretty bad. But now I am 3 years past my first pregnancy and 2 weeks past my second pregnancy and my stretchmarks are all silvered. I have wrinkely skin now, but at least the stretch marks arnt red anymore.0
