How do I post my Pedometer "steps" ?

I just began yesterday with this app. so I have a lot to learn. Last night I couldn't figure how to put down my "steps" that were tracked my pedometer as part of my exercise. I can't say that I walked thousands of steps (or total miles) within a specific time length. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much!

    I use the Striiv app(it's a free app) on my phone and connected my Striiv account to myfitnesspal..I keep my phone on my arm when excercising and it transfers the data automatically,,They also sell a striiv pedometer( outside of the phone app) that can be used with myfitnesspal

    Thank you... but my phone isn't a "smart" phone....yet!
