If my BMR is higher than what MFP is suggesting I eat is that okay?
My BMR is around 1664 and MFP is suggesting I eat 1558.

What did you put for your weight loss goal per week? If you said 2 lbs it wil subtract 1000 cal per day becuse that is what you need to eat less to lose 2 lbs/week.
  • I only did the 1lb recommend with my 30 min 5x's a week workouts.

Is the 1664 your base metabolic rate to maintain or to loose?
  • BMR is your metabolic rate you use to merely survive. The numbers don't reflect any type of movement, exercise, daily activity, etc.

Right.... and the mfp pal tools say my BMR is 1326. My calorie goal, without counting in exercise, is 1200. So I'll be at a deficit, and therefore lose weight. Your calorie goal should be under your BMR. That's one of the reasons it's recommended you eat most/all/some of your exercise calories! (That, and not going under 1200 net calories per day...)

I don't think I understand where the confusion is.
