The other day my husband surprised me and made me these two weight sticks (2 1/2in round 3 1/2ft long and weighs about 10lbs) to use on my workouts. They are great for lunges and crunches while holding them; if you make these and need any other advice on what you can do with them let me know..
This is a recipe to make your own weight stick:
bag of cement
pvc pipe (thick about 2 1/2 - 3 in round) can be to cut to 3 1/2-4 ft long, this will all depend on how heavy you want it)
duck tape (used to cover the ends after the cement is dried completely)
sports tape (use to wrap the stick completely)
