Hi, I know exactly what you are going through, I also put on a heap of weight with anti depressant meds. You can get this weight off, I have lost 63lb so it really can be done. You need to stick to a healthy eating plan and stay within your calories and move a bit more than usual.

Good luck I hope it works for you.
  • I've been in your shoes, only with anti-seizure meds. I had just work off 70lbs and then my meds were switched and I gain 30lbs back in 2 months. I got depressed and it has taken me a couple years to get back on track but you can get back to where you were with healthy choices and exercise. Good luck!

I have been there. not with depression meds but with meds for fibro I gain 40lbs in 3 months and the dr told me it wasnt from the meds, Anyway I have lost all of it and am trying to loose more. You can do it, it just takes hard work and determination . But yes it is depressing
  • i have been in your shoes with other meds as well mainly steriods, plus was put on depo-provera which made me gain like 50 pounds you can do it just watch and exercise i have lost 34 pounds
  • thank you to everyone for your help and support:happy:
