Hello, I am sooo frustrated today. However I have restarted my journey, maybe it is the frustration that makes me restart. (which is not a bad thing!) What ever made me restart I must make it stick this time. I was doing okay two weeks ago and then my 4yr old brought home a very nasty virus which after taking care of him for a week, yes that is right I was to follow getting the virus.

For almost two weeks while being sick I fell right off the wagon. I was sooooo tired.. I ate that quick to make comfort kinda food. Lucky at my weigh in this am I only gained about a pound. Right before I got sick I started going to the gym. Now I still have a little problem breathing if I even walk two blocks I am coughing and and wheezing. I believe this is in part from the virus that I had (still on antibotics).

So now I am going to restart the better/less/healthier eating, and calorie and sodium watching. I know this will help but as far as excercise that is still mostly out of the question, because of my breathing. I feel like not only do I self sabatoge, but other things get in the way. I am the first to admit I am my own worst enemy when it comes to weight loss. I need a jump start like a good weight loss this week so I can feel better and more confident. Just had to vent!

  • I am so completely with you. I think the best thing to do is set the guilt aside - you had to take care of your child and yourself- and start fresh. Make today count! Don't worry about yesterday. Have a great week and see if this is not the turning point! Good luck.
  • Hang in there, it's a long journey! I've been doing this a week and my weight rocketed up 4 lbs even tho the charts said I should have lost 4. But I plan to keep at it....ou'll get your breathing back and in no time POW!

I feel the same way. Last weekend was Labor Day which meant a big cookout with lots of food. Then I go away for the weekend and eat out every night! Ugh...just when I hit my lowest, something comes up. Don't give up. Just keep going.
