Different Numbers On Same Scales?!

This morning I weighed myself on a scale (non-electric) on a hard floor and it read 210 pounds. However, today, my therapist weighed me. She has the SAME scale, and the arrow was at 195 pounds. Hers was on a carpet, though. Which is correct? Thanks!

The one on the hard floor. The scale should be balanced, and on a flat surface when you are being weighed on it. The carpet is not a flat surface it's a bit like a cushion changing your weight.0

Scales on carpet never get an accurate weight. Weigh yourself at the same time, same scale, same clothes (or lack thereof) to get accurate readings. Preferably in the morning, before breakfast, after you use the restroom.0

Same BRAND of scale but not the same scale. Different things can throw a scale off, even if it's the same brand. So no matter what any other scale says, go by the scale you do your normal weigh in on.0
