How and when do I reward my successes?

One of my old habits that I am trying to break is rewarding myself with food with my successes. Of course, I can't deny that I turned to food for comfort with my failures.
But, as I am starting my new health journey, I am struggling with ways to reward myself. I havent lost enough weight to buy new clothes. Once, I am there, I WILL.
So, I am curious what everyone else is doing? Are the ladies splurging on manicures and pedicures? facials? Are the guys getting massages? extra sessions with the trainer?
Any thoughts?

I don't really reward myself. I just have my goal in mind and push myself everyday to get closer to it. Any type of reward that busts your calorie limit for the day is counter productive and you'll just end up spinning your wheels.0

I've certainly rewarded myself along the way with a few new clothes. First I had to in a couple of instances (the belts had run out of notches). And the thought of getting into a pair of jeans below my dream jeans size was just too much to pass up. And those are the jeans I wear regularly now. And I wear them comfortably. Actually loosely. Oh, and something I never thought I would get: a couple of compression workout shirts. You know, ,the kind the cling to the body that show it off. I feel comfortable enough in my body now to wear it to the gym. And one is sleeveless because I've got enough arms to wear it too.
And I've been getting mani/pedis for years anyway. I don't know why more guys don't. It really is great. It shouldn't be something only ladies do. I have one scheduled for Saturday.
As far as food, when I was on vacation, I tried to watch what I ate, but wasn't completely fanatical about it like I am when I'm home. But others do have reward or treat days or just treat meals. And they handle it fine. It depends upon the person: if they can handle it and make it a rare, but scheduled, event, fine. But you have to know yourself well.
I do think you have to find little ways to reward yourself along the way. It can't be all about one big celebration at the end. Stop and smell the roses sometimes.0 -
Never really understood the need to buy **** as "reward" for eating less.
But if just looking and feeling better isn't reward enough to do the right thing by your body, then I guess new clothes are good. Have to do that anyway.0
