Normally I'd just veg on the couch when i get home from work
but now that I have my foam roller, I'm actually thinking of some light yoga or rolling or something... if I happen to brek a little sweat, more power to it?

At work! LOL.
I work weekends in retail and am on my feet all day long. When I get home, I just sort of collapse in a heap while the dog licks my face. Then I usually veg out on the couch watching Netflix. If I am able to get my energy back, I do housework or paint or organize, stuff like that. Mostly the vegging thing, though.
The other five days a week, I'm home with my kids doing "mom" stuff, cleaning house, etc. I work out for about an hour in the mornings, then take an hour long walk most evenings. So I guess I don't technically have any "off" days, though there is no exercise beyond walking around/standing behind a register on the weekends.0 -

I take a cyle/spinning class. No rest days unless I absolutely need recovery. Like today, I'm not working out for sht. But usually I workout 7 times a week0

Yoga. I've read that it is a great middle ground between doing nothing, and "working" out.
It does seem to help me, especially with extensive stretching that I don't get in after most of my workouts.0
