If you are under or at your calories, no.

A lot of people here will tell you different, but I assure you, if you are in a calorie deficit you will not be affecting your weight loss. How many grams of sugar are you consuming daily, out of interest?

Well from recent research I know for a FACT you can have at least 100g of sugar and be fine as long as you are at or under your calories. I have more, and I still lose weight at a normal rate.

I have never tracked a single gram of sugar and have lost a few pounds..... I track my caloric intake and my 3 main macros - Carbs, Proteins, and Fats.... and live by the motto "Keep it Simple Stupid" has worked pretty good for me so far... Best of Luck

Well first of all, you look great! But as humans we are never happy, I know this myself, haha!

The only thing you can do really to improve your hips and belly is weight train + lose fat, that's all there is to it.

You may believe a treadmill or a bicycle will get you the desired results that I know you have in your head, but it won't.

All that does is increases the chance of muscle mass loss and make you a smaller version of yourself, keeping fat intact but hardly any muscle mass making peoples bodies pudgy and soft if you poke them!
  • The sugar tracker on here gets on my nerves a little. I'm consistently "over" my goal on sugars, but I rarely have anything with refined or added sugar. Most of my sugar comes from fruit and dairy products, etc. I wish these didn't count the same as sugar from candy or soda. It doesn't seem right to me...

Does anyone have further insight to this? Is sugar still sugar no matter where it comes from? Or is it similar to the situation of nutritious calories vs empty calories?

In terms of fat loss, and being in a caloric deficit, yes sugar is just sugar.

Only advice I can give for you to be sure: make sure you don't go over 100g of sugar (I do go over 100g mysself, but im being cautious for you, to make you feel better)
