Candid Photos - the difference!

So this first pic is from Oct. 2012 at my sons' birthday party. When I was going through the photos after the party, I saw this picture of myself and thought "Who is this woman in my house?" oh....its me. That was my wake up call that things needed to change.

Here I am at a work event a couple of nights ago...I like this photo because I am not posing and using flattering angles - yet I feel slim and trim!

In the first photo I am about 150. In the second I am about 125,,,,

    It's spectacular! You've done brilliantly!

I used to dread photos of myself - I'd hide from cameras - one surefire way is to take the pics yourself so you're not in any of them!

But for the first time, on holiday last week, I was posing for pictures, and when we got back I was happy to look at them. My profile pic is one my hubby took of me walking ahead of him, and I love it! Candid shots are excellent for letting you see what you're really like, good and bad! I love this pic of me because that's a picture of someone I would like to look like - and I do!!!!

And candid pics are good because you're not posing, so you're not trying to disguise the bits you don't like, so you really see what everyone else does!

Thanks all! It feels great! I am very happy with what I have accomplished.

@Camer_Bagint - I always hid from the camera too, which is why I feel good about this photo. No hands on my hips for effect, I am in a natural posture and comfy clothes. Yet, I look at it and I do not feel like "OMG, why did they take that pic of me!" Congrats to you on your newfound confidence, too ;)

Everyone else, feel free to share your candid shots! They are a fun representation of our hard work.
