Frustrated

Hi everyone, guess I'm just going to get on here and vent and share my story...........sorry if it seems I'm whining or whatever, but I am normally a strong person and over the past few months I feel I have weakened in my soul. Started out losing weight I wasn't working at the time and was able to devote a big portion of my time to MFP, and I was doing great, lost 13 pounds, I have gained back all but 4!. Over the past 6 months I have had to go back to work due to my husbands hours being cut, my mother-n-law was diagnosis with a aggressive lung cancer, and I have basically given up on myself. I have gained the 13 pounds back and now feel like there is nowhere to go. I have also had to be placed on medication for depression and this has not helped with trying to lose weight. Okay sorry off my vent box now, thanks for taking the time to listen.

Remind yourself that eating healthy makes us feel better and make sure you are getting enough vitamin D. Don't beat yourself up.

Thank you I'm trying not too it's just everyone is relying on me now and I have had to put myself on the back burner and while I feel selfish saying this I really don't have anyone here to help push me through it is taking all my energy just be there for everyone else to lean on when in fact I'm screaming inside.

Just remember in order to take care of everyone else YOU have to be in good condition. Taking care of yourself is a HUGE priority. So many times we put everyone else first, neglect ourselves, and then we end up being the one with the health issues. Be the best you that you can be so you're able to give the support to those around you. Sometimes it is okay to be selfish too when you need a little break.

You don't have to exercise or take extra time to lose weight. It can be as simple as just eating less and making better choices. The last 7 months of my life have been pure hell but I still maintain my diet even though exercise time has become nonexistent. You have to decide you want to do this and make the right choices when it comes to your food.
