On the MFP biking for 45 mins u burn 456 calories..Is this accurate or anything because I've heard on other websites u dont burn as much as u do on MFP..I dont have a calorie watch thing to track it

I use http://www.bicycling.com/caloriemain for biking. I have also read that MFP gives high numbers. For other exercises I often google up a few different calculators and take the average.

its really about your intensity. But in generally, I log food high and exercise low.

I have a heart rate monitor and also enter my workouts to this website http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc. It has always been very close to my heart rate monitor. hope this helps :)

Yes it does. I have a polar ft4. But I have entered my weight and time spent doing the specific exercise to that website to see close my heart rate monitor was. I believe the most ever it was off was by 10 calories(website ran a 10 less than my hrm). So not perfect but way closer than myfitnesspal calculator. I have compared my polar to that website I gave you at least 40+.

MFP seems high when estimating cals burned. Last time I did biking, it was over by about 30.
