Stuck in a funk :/

I have been seriously using MFP since January 2 of this year, and was very good at logging in all my foods each and every day. At the end of May, I went on vacation, got back, worked out heavily for a week, and caught the flu which took 3 weeks to get over. Since I left for my trip, I have been stuck at around 153 lbs. I had gotten to 151, but keep on gaining and losing the same few pounds. My goal weight is 140, and my ultimate goal is to get down to 135. My problem has been that I eat very healthy during the day, and at around 4 or 5 I end up binging on whatever junk food there is in the house. My question for my fellow MFPers is this: how do I get out of this funk, and get back on track to hitting my goal weight? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Get the junk food out of the house and schedule a workout for that time. Find a friend to do something with so you have to go. Willpower!0

For me I had to go with a IF or intermittent fasting. Mainly I do this because if I eat breakfast I lose it right about 3 and I will eat junk until I go to bed. I have no idea if this will work for you but not eating breakfast saves me so many more calories later on in the day I would just as soon never eat it again. I lose all control of myself and my kids junk starts calling my name.
Also I saw something on Dr. Oz and yes oz bashers this one is healthy and it works! Between meals take 2tbls of Chia seeds in a large glass of water. It doesn't taste bad, not really any taste at all the texture is weird to say the least. But it's loaded with fiber and omega 3's, and for the best part it turns to cement in your stomach! I don't care how much you want that cupcake you will not get it down! You do have to plan for using this trick as it does have 120 calories in it. But it really works. Somedays maybe a little to good the other night not only did I not snack I couldn't eat my dinner, LOL! I call it my willpower when I have none.0 -
Get the junk food out and have healthy snacks ready to go. If all fruits and veggies are washed you can just grab them when you get in that mood.0

I agree with the other on the junk food - get it out of the house and then you can't eat it.
Try pre-logging your food, all the way through dinner. I often do this after breakfast - plan dinner, and log it early in the day, then I make better choices for lunch and snacks, and know by the time dinner arrives how I'm doing on cals, protein, carbs, fat, etc. Sometimes I cut it pretty close, other times it works out that a glass of wine will fit in with dinner, or a small dish of ice cream for dessert. I've also found that pre-logging helps me stick to what I planned, number of servings or portions, etc. It works for me.
If it's workout motivation you need as well, hit Old Navy, TJ Maxx or Target and pick up a new workout top or shorts - new gear always motivates me for some reason.0
