Microwave yummy cake

This is easy as 1-2-3

You will need two cake mixes

One must be Angel Food the other your choice

Mix the two together in an airtight container and seal it

When you want a treat, get a coffee mug, add 3 Tablespoons of the Cake Mix and 2 Tablespoons of Water. Microwave 1 minute.


Not as sweet as regular cake so I did my packet on spenda and it was just great! Not sure on the calories haven't yet taken the time to figure it out but it is a lot less than a whole cake! also will depend on what kind of cake mix you use. enjoy! :)

    Also a suggestion

    1 scoop of whey protein
    1 egg
    a drop of milk

    Mix it up in a mug and pop it in the microwave

    I'll have to try it. It might be really good because I have trouble portioning sweet things, so it would be a perfect portion.

    To people asking, the calories vary depending on what your second cake mix is. 1.5T of Duncan Hines angel food cake mix is 53 calories, and you need .05 servings of another 15.25oz box of cake mix, so:

    Pure angel food cake: 105 calories per mug cake
    With devil's food cake mix (96 calories): 149 calories per mug cake
    With red velvet cake mix (108 calories): 161 calories per mug cake

    The formula is:
    53 + (.05 servings of one 15.25oz package of dry mix only) = calorie count

    You're better off making your own than having processed boxed cake mix. There are many coffee mug cake recipes on the internet, Pinterest, etc.
