HELP

I been trying to lose weight for years. Never really worked cause I didn't have time to work out or focus on my eating while I was in high school was to concentrated on my school work. Now that I graduated I have time to focus on losing weight.

Another down fall is that I have bad knee's so when I do a 30 minute or hour workout like cardio my knee's hurt and I can't get up and do it the next day cause they are just that sore.

Today I did 12 minutes of cardio and about died. But next time I'll be able to get to 24 minutes. But just after the 12 minutes my knees are killing me.

I'm always reading playing just dance or doing wii fit or going for walks don't help cause it isn't high impact and you aren't burning a lot blah blah blah.

I am trying extremely hard to watch my eating. But at the same time I'm a 18 year old girl that loves chocolate lol.

HELP!!!!!!! Give advice all the stuff I find is not helpful by any means.

    Here was my recipe for starting out:

    Figure out your BMR and that's your calorie goal for the day.

    Get one of those cheap pedometers and don't go to bed until you get in 10,000 steps.
