Input every morsel of food you eat and do not eat all of your exercise calories and you will do eat. Make sure you eat you required number of calories. Good Luck
  • Good luck! What are you doing for workouts! If you need any tips, motivations, or suggestions, I would be happy to help you out :o)
  • you can do it- that was my goal 1.5 years ago, I have kept it off after I met my goal early in 2010. My fitness pal helped me get there- the other reply is right- input everything. I supplemented running, and now I do one 5K per month. The running is great- and helps on those days I want to eat chips or a burger, or pasta! Good lucK!
  • Good luck on your journey.. I'm looking to lose 55 pounds. I can't wait for it to be gone!

Correction -- you should actually consider eating the majority of your exercise cals on MFP's plan. I do, and I've lost 80 pounds in the last year.
In the beginning, I wasn't eating my exercise calories. I lost a ton of weight really quickly and then my metabolism slowed way down and my weight loss slowed (pretty much stopped) even though I was still doing what I had been doing all along. It's been an 8 month long fight to get my metabolism working pretty well for me again. I've only lost 24 pounds in those 8 months I've been building my metabolism back up (I lost 55 pounds my first 4 months with MFP). So yeah, based on my individual experience, I have to recommend following the advice of MFP and eating the majority of the calories you burn through exercise  I'm FINALLY starting to lose again (and this time, I'm eating 1400-1500 NET calories every day!).
