I read the book when it first came out, but didnt have the willpower to follow their diet then. Now Im a bit more curious about it. Has anyone tried it? What do you think?

I think that it is a bit too extreme. While it has some good ideas, Idon't know how anyone can jump into that diet and NOT fail.0

Yeah thats what concerns me... It seems like a set up for failure because its incredibly restrictive, but I really could use a little more
discipline when it comes to eating. Maybe I will take the parts I feel are most important and follow those.. hmm..0 -
I agree. I read the book a couple of years ago and if I remember correctly, alot of the diet was vegan based. I'm a vegetarian but I could not pull off a vegan diet.0

I loved the book, one of the reason was because I was in denial about how bad are animals are abused and what they go through, and me being a animal lover I have only eaten chicken a few times since, mainly fish only. The book is very graphic that's what was the hardest for me. You learn the truth alot about what the goverment is doing in the food industry to keep us fat. I think it's a great book but like the other girls said a little strict. I think the book by Torsco Reno RECHARGED is so good you can follow that. Hope i helped0

That's one book I haven't read but really want to, mainly because I've read that many people read the book and want to change the way they eat immediately, I want to see how they have managed to influence so many people to want to change their lifestyle drastically.
And to Tasha1476, if your avatar is a current picture, you look pretty darn good. I'd say just keep doing what you're doing...0 -

I will have to check out that book. thanks!0 -
I haven't read it personally, but I have a vegan friend who loved it. She's a little extreme though.. with the vegan diet and she works out at the gym for hours every day. I know I couldn't live like that! LOL!0

I would be careful and take the opinions in this book with a grain of salt. I read the book and did some research on some of their claims, and found that some of their claims were grossly exaggerated to prove their point. I don't care if you are vegan or whatever at least they need to get their story straight and make sure their information is correct. Alot of people will blindly follow the advice of a random stranger without doing their own research.0
