Hi, I'm 20 and need to lose about 40 lbs :S

I'm a yoyo dieter :( I'm addicted to losing weight fast and I went as far as to starve myself and live with 500 calories a day to lose weight, eating only eggs, vegetable soup and fat free yogurts! Of course I gained it all back and more...
I'm now trying to lose in a more sensible way but the weight loss is slow and I'm very tempted to try and crash diet again!
I try to make changes I could commit to for life, allowing myself to eat sweets from time to time, and exercising every day.
I started at 182 lbs 3 weeks ago (Im now 172!) and hoping to go down to 130-something lbs.

    Good for you for trying to make positive change this time. This journey can be difficult at times but it really is worth it. Having supportive friends that understand the challenges helps and this is a great place to find that.

    Hi, I am a 48 yr old father of 3, I use to be very athletic until I let kids, knee surgery and life get in the way. I have done one round of P90x, started getting fit again, did ok on nutrition, then didn't stay with the changes I was making. 6 weeks later I am starting over, plan on better eating habits and using this site for modivation and encouragement with others on the same journey.
