Nerdy Girl's Revenge!

So, I'm still about halfway from my weight goal, but what took place yesterday at the gym felt far more successful than any amount of weight loss.

Something fantastic happened that can only be defined as "Nerd Girl Revenge." Yesterday, I was at the gym doing one-armed dumbbell rows. I looked in the mirror to check my form when I recognized a guy from high school (one of those popular yet super rude jock types). Let's just say I caught him admiring the gains I've gotten from doing squats.

Better yet? We made eye contact in the mirror, and by the way he practically fled from his machine, I feel it's safe to say he knew exactly who I was.

Anyone else have a moment like this? :D

    Nerd girls always have the last laugh. And, given our interests, wind up with the nicest guys - especially since we're often in a minority.
