Just starting here, introduction and looking for friends :)

Hey all, I'm a 19 year old guy from the UK doing a computing course at university. Just started here and this is the first time i've really tried to lose weight. I have a long way to go, 100+ pounds (not really too sure what my final goal is haha). Looking for friends of any age, with any goals as long as they're active on the site and positive :)

    I am also starting university for computer science. Sitting in front of the computer all day coding is definitely not conducive to losing weight easily, I would know! But I'll be able to help you out, I've always been pretty good at maintaining my weight and have been doing a lot of studying on diet and nutrition.

But I'll be able to help you out, I've always been pretty good at maintaining my weight and have been doing a lot of studying on diet and nutrition.

    I can verify that... been developing software all my adult life (okay, I was actually writing PC games in my teens.)

    yeah, going to join the gym at my university and it's about a 20 minute walk each way to uni from my flat, so hopefully that will help a bit :) Cool, nice to have people around that know a lot about that kind of thing, i'm sure i'll need help at some stage.
