Scanning ?

Sorry, just joined today and not sure where to ask this. Is there a place on the app to scan? I don't have it on my app-- well at least I don't think so. However, my friend said he can scan. ??? Is he lying? LOL

    When you're adding a food, right of the search box theres a barcode-looking thing, click that and you can scan.

    Edit: that's where it is on the iphone app, not sure if that matters or not.

    When you go to add a food in your diary there is a little bar code button to the right of the screen near the top, next to the search bar.
    I would highly suggest double checking all the info that comes up when you scan though. I have been getting a lot that are different values.

    Depends on your phone. My old phone was an iphone 3GS and that could not scan my new phone an iphone 4S can.

    I had to download a scan app for the scann functin to work on MFP. Mine is called scanlife I think. It was free.
