MEAT Recipes to REDUCE FAT INTAKE

Hello,

I've been a dedicated beef eater for years. Right now, I'm trying to reduce my fat intake (at ~40% right now), but am not sure what to prepare and how to prepare it. Please give recipe links or names, or meal ideas.

Thank you!

    sirloin steak, grilled, fat trimmed...

BOOM, lean meat. No recipe required. Just trim all visible fat from the meat you're already eating and you're good to go.

The most expensive cuts, trimmed lean, will be the best way to go. Unfortunately, they're the most expensive cuts.

Look for long cooking recipes for means like London Broil, which is kinda tough compared to a good steak.

Yeah I am. I'll figure my way around eventually. I read earlier today that this place is like HS, I just need to figure out where the cool kids eat lunch.

I want to try a new approach to lose weight. Or at least, something new to try.

    Any suggestions on chicken/pork recipes?

You could always wash and rinse your ground meat, boil meat or use applesauce instead of butter for frying, take out the yolks, consume 0 fat everything.........then your golden, and then wondering why fat is all of a sudden bad.

This site used to be helpful, but I'm agreeing with the HS comments.

I didn't say fat was bad, and I didn't say I wanted 0 fat. I posted because I wanted to find meal ideas that were around 20-30% fat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You want actual meals? Sorry, that is just too much work.

Trim the visible fat from your meats and use leaner types, like chicken or turkey, and reduce the amount of oil you use when cooking.

I honestly have a harder time meeting my fat macro than anything else.

    chicken breast
    ground turkey breast
    fish

I don't particularly like chewing fat, so I trim fatty cuts, but usually after cooking since the fat helps the flavor develop.

Flank steak, chicken, filet mignon, top sirloin - lots of protein and low fat.

boil your chicken breasts instead of other cooking methods. lots of fat will be gone.

serve with steam rice and steam veggies. no fat there.

    LOW fat MEAL including meat....BAM!

^Actually that is a great point.

Boiled chicken breast can be very versatile. I like to shred mine for tacos or salads.
