Hello! I have been doing MFP for a little while on and off now. This is the most serious I have been about losing weight this time. I used to do WW but I couldnt figure our what made a point. To me it makes more sense and is easier to count calories. I have been going to the gym everyday for at least 30 mins a day 7 days a week for about 2 weeks now. I feel tons better already and have even lowered my calories down from 1200 to 1000.I have lost about 12-13 lbs In the beginning the weight came off fast now its a pound here and a pound there. I am trying to keep my eye on the prize which at the moment is a wedding dress. I hope to at least and I do mean very least I hope to lose another 12 or 13 lbs. Good luck to all on your goals!!!
Feel free to add me!

1000 calories a day plus exercise for the next three months is not a great strategy at all. Aside from the obvious inability to get proper nutrition, you're looking at metabolic damage, hormone disruptions, muscle catabolism, possibly hair falling out, dark circles under your eyes, general fatigue and lethargy, loose skin and a possible hollow look on your wedding day.
Get your calories up to a reasonable amount and you can still reasonably lose 12 lbs in 3 months and be healthy and glowing on your special day. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Take care of yourself, girl!
*edit: I wrote this for some reason thinking this was an Oct 28th wedding, idk. everything still stands for Oct 5, except maybe 8-10 lbs is more likely.0 -

Congrats !!
To stay healthy (with a clear mind & strong body), eat "clean".
Consume AT LEAST 1200 calories so you might get the proper amount of nutrients. And your body can work properly .
And to encourage BEAUTIFUL GLOWING RADIANT SKIN on your wedding day, start consuming Today:
the right kinds of protein (for cell repair). fish, egg withes, skinlesss chicken & turkey
emega-3 rich salmon
extra virgin olive oil,
water water water
fruits & veggies that have lots of antioxidants
and stay clear of inflammantion-inducing sugar and hi-glycemic carbs (ie potatoe, white rice, white pasta).

I also agree. 1000 calories is way too low, especially since your working out. Look up BMR calculators to see what your calorie intake should be without exercise...and then figure it out from there. I am 112 pounds and I eat about 1600 calories a day. You need to eat more to burn more. No one should ever really go below 1200 and that's low. You need to fuel your body to keep with the workouts. You don't want to rush the weight loss in an unhealthy way. We don't want to sound harsh, but we want you to be healthy!! Congrats on the wedding, I'm sure you will look fabulous!0 -
