Hi I'm new to this and noticed when I walk I get more calories. Now do I eat those extra calories or stick to what it says I'm should have before any exercise. I would think if I ate the extra calories that I would not lose weight . Please let me know what you all do thanks!

if using the site as intended, you should eat them...thats why they show up after you add an exercise. you wont gain weight, or not lose... it keeps your deficit at whatever you set it as and youll lose just fine. i always eat mine.0

MFP has the calorie deficit already calculated. If you don't eat the burned calories back the deficit gets too large, to the point you lose not only fat, but muscle too. That being said...the accuracy of calories burned on an exercise can be off. Maybe eat half back. Everyone is different, you will have to do some experimenting and find out what works best for you.0
