Endomondo always says I burn more calories on my runs that MFP. I know a heart rate monitor is the way to go if I want the best accuracy, but I'm a full-time nursing student (i.e. poor). So my question is, which number do you find more accurate?

I use endomondo too. I think because it is out with you and I think because it knows if you are going up and down inclines and stuff... Maybe it calculates that into the calories burned?0

I hope so! It's usually about 100+ more than what MFP gives me.0

I'm having the opposite issue! I'm getting more calories burned with MFP than endomondo. I've always trusted MFP because I figured that's what I was basing my daily caloric allowance off of, so to keep things kosher I'd use their exercise calories too. I get heart rate monitor is the best way to do it. But I'm just looking for the CLOSEST estimate.0
