Calorie intake too low make up for it later?

So I've been pretty much sticking around the 1200 calorie goal that MFP gave me and typically allowing myself more calories on the days I work out. The last 2 days I felt so tired and had headaches by the end of my work days. When I looked at my diary I realized that I worked out on Sun and Mon but didn't eat back my exercise calories (because I don't tend to eat if I'm not hungry) so I was at a 400-600 deficit, those 2 days. No wonder I felt like crap! So, now I'm trying to figure out, do I try to make up those calories this week? Or do I just let it go for now and just make sure I stick to my 1200?

I wouldn't make them up for past days, just make sure from now on that you are eating the exercise calories back. Also.. 1200 that MFP sets is typically too low for most people. This website can help you to figure out what YOUR body should be eating to lose weight healthily
- First you can use this link to figure out your BMR:

- Then use this other website to figure out your daily caloric needs:

- Then I would subtract around 20% to get your calorie deficit
The website has all the info you need on it0 -

Thanks for the links! While is it is somewhat of a challenge I am not finding it too hard to limit my calorie intake to 1200 daily. Being conscious of what I eat and making different choices has helped a lot. What I am more confused about is the eating back of the calories after exercise. I am consistently under because of it. I don't feel like eating more. Yet I sometimes see on these forums that it is better to eat those calories back. I am not experiencing any adverse affects and I am not doing any extreme dieting so for me at least I don't see it as being a problem.0
