Wow! And here I thought my pancake-eating days were over. I never thought to look for a protein version. Thanks for this!

Need to try these just because of the crazy amount of protein in these. Thanks!

definitely going to give it a whirl.

been trying to help a girl at work find ways to stuff protein into her exceptionally picky husbands diet.

Unfortunately not usable with a low carb, high protein diet. At least make it a healthy flour like almond, flax, coconut.

This recipe is just the base you can taylor it to your specific goals and macros, switch out the flour for coconut flour, change the protein powder, use flavored yogurt, use milk instead of water. Make it your own. Hope that helped

So this was my first time baking with protein powder. They were tough and dense. Is that normal when baking with protein powder? Not sure if I did something wrong or if that is normal. I used a different protein powder, so that might be why. Not sure. Teamiconic...what was the texture of your pancakes like?

Great recipe! I definitely would like to try it. I'll be using a different protein powder and just want to make sure I use the right amount since different companies have different scoop sizes. Does the label of your protein powder say how many grams or oz one scoop is, so I can make sure I don't use too little/too much of my protein powder brand?. If it does, I'd love it if you could share the weight of the serving size! Thanks.

My protein powder weight is 34g per scoop

Here are the weights for everything else

    This is for 2 servings
    60g flour
    92g egg whites
    68g protein powder
    227g greek yogurt
    74g water

    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
With these I just use a measuring spoon and level it off

    Hope that helped ;)

    PRO TIP:
-Don't overcook pancakes, cook until just golden brown. Then flip. These are not as forgiving as regular pancakes :)
-When you stack them put a little syrup between each pacake

    damn- these are good.

SUPER easy to over cook (my pan is domed in the middle- so they slide outward- making it even harder)

    Variation:
I used a full eggs- none of that egg what chit
I used plain gold standard vanilla protein- no vanilla extract.

Delicious- no way I can eat all of them right now- but damn very tasty.

    Thank you for sharing.

Your welcome I am so happy you enjoyed them. And as you see they are pretty forgiving with the swapping of ingredients. Thank you. This recipe is 2 servings and it does make A LOT of pancakes, some people may want to cut the recipe in half to start. Thank you somuch for writing a review. You ROCK!!!

I'm probably going to make a batch for the week and use them as snacks. I have NO qualms what so ever about eating cold vanilla flavored pancakes! :D

You can also use honey instead of syrup. Local honey, which will help with any seasonal allergies ^_^
