Projected Weight Loss

Hi all! I'm new to MFP and I was wondering what most people picked for the Projected Weight Loss. I have been debating on 1 lb per week which is recommended or 1 1/2 lbs per week (because it would be nice to loser faster if possible!) :-) Thanks for your input!

  • i did what was recommended 1 lb but i often eat a little less then the calories allowed so i end up seeing the 1.5 per week. its a mind trick i do with myself
  • i think it depends on how much weight you can afford to lose. i only have 10 lbs and even though i chose the 1.5 lbs per week i've been loosing more, just because i usually can't even eat the entirety on the calories i'm allotted. they say anything over a 1200 calorie a day diet is healthy so you could probably chose the 1.5 lbs a week and just eat a few hundred less calories a day to see even more results.
