    off topic, but i miss ottawa. i moved to Hamilton for a job, and i can't wait to return to lovely Ottawa. how long have you been marathon running? (outside of your injury)

    jack - Are you a runner? I took up running last June 09 and ran my first half marathon in September and my 2nd at the end of May. I love it and miss it. I've been recouping with 5 min. walks and 1 min. run intervals with a few 5 min. runs thrown in depending on how my hip flexor and piriformis is feeling.

    I'm doing the 5km Army Run with my 12 year old daughter next weekend. The Army Run 1/2 marathon was my debut.

    There is nothing like a nice run down the canal.

    Hi, I am in Vulcan Alberta, I LOVE to run and the Shred video by Jillian is amazing, only 20 mins/day but it kicks your butt! I also have 2 dvds from Biggest Loser, which I will use this winter, good luck!
