No late night snacking - 09/13 to 09/19

The challenge continues! (to challenge us). If you're mad about snacking late at night, in particular on chips, popcorn and M&Ms, join us in the struggle to defeat this habit and change it to: "No more late night snacking!" Take either dinner or a cut-off time to be the last time you eat for the day, after which tea and water only drinker. Then stick to it! and most importantly, stick to us, so that you get over slip-offs. Be certain that you can do it!

We usually do month-by-month, but are now changing to week-to-week to get more support. (But feel free to keep a tally of your month achievements too)

Join at ANY time, with each of individually tallying at the end of each week and even the month. Don't give up. One night of non-success does not scrap you for the week or the month. Make a goal, and if you overcoming one extra night a week or month of success, then you are a winner!

    Going to give it to ME last night, although took my last bite of ice cream about 10 minutes after my cutoff. But I didn't want to make myself sick by shoveling it into my face and we were on the road. Reasonability is the key to success!

    kgroysman, you can do this! Just make sure you plan carefully if you ever do your Eat, Stop, Eat days so that you get in enough calories.

    Thanks to this group, I am sticking w/the challenge.
    For this week so far,
    Me- 2; Snacks - 0
    I am aiming for a perfect week. Will be hard becasue I will be on the road this week-end w/my sister and parents. In addition to playing cards, eating is our major past-time.:laugh: So...hhm...will really be a challenge.:grumble: The only good thing is I will not have access to a computer so I can't report in.:laugh:

    Feel like I kind on cheated on this one. I had to get up for work at midnight, so I went to bed around 8 p.m., but I think I actually stopped eating at 6, so maybe not. I'm getting the late night thing under control. Now just need to get the during the day thing under control.

    I will keep trying to stick to the challenge, but I leave early tomorrow for several days and no computer so won't be posting.

    Hiding :blushing: . Didn't notice there was a new thread until yesterday, I kept looking at the one for last week. Honestly, I didn't do very well - thinking about abandoning Sept altogether. But since next week there's a new thread... will see :wink:.
