Intense home workout

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for an intense home workout to do 2-3x a week. I've been sticking to the same cardio routine for a while now so want to mix it up a little. I wanted to get the insanity workouts but honestly I really can't afford £105. Also I know with that its a specific 90 day routine which I'm not looking for, more just a general workout to do a few times a week

I was going to say Insanity. Actually just seen your comment about the price - that is totally ridiculous.
I do Blogilate, its really good, lots of different workout videos on youtube, and each month she releases a workout calender. This is all free!0 -
There is a lot of stuff on youtube. Even insanity is on there!
Check out sixpackshortcuts.com or search for it on youtube. This guy posts a lot of workouts on youtube.

You should be able to get a hold of the Insanity videos one way or the other whether it be YouTube, Torrent, or via a friend. Frankly maybe you could even split the cost with a few friends to get the real deal. Anyway, Insanity is a 60 day program (p90x is 90) and it is really really effective. I don't work a normal schedule so I only do Insanity 3 or 4 times per week just cycling through 4 of the videos and it's working great for me as is. You'll always be better off buying the real thing and doing it according to the schedule but if you can get it for free somewhere and just use the videos for what they are (which is a crazy home cardio workout), than you will see results for sure.0

For a while I liked doing the workouts on BobHarper.com. It's a subscription thing, $9.95 a month automatically deducted from your credit/debit card until you cancel, but there are tons of workout videos and other things, like Bob doing 2-minute cooking videos, instructions for doing other workouts at home besides the tons of videos, etc. The workouts typically have a CrossFit flavor, and he brings in different people and makes it interesting. I ended up quitting after a few months because of budget but am thinking about starting again. The workouts are very good. That said, it sounds like his new book is not very good, and goes against most of the things that people on this website believe about dieting correctly. So I'd recommend his website for the workouts, but not for the nutrition and diet advice.0

The very best website for workouts is
FITNESSBLENDER.COM
They have sooo many different workouts from level 1-5, stretching, cardio, strength, whatever you need. You can search for the workout you want and find lots of fun ones!!
And the best thing: It's completely free!
I'm wondering why this site is not as popular as it should be...
.. let me know if you like it!0 -
Try looking into Wello (https://www.wello.com), an awesome fitness website where you can workout with a personal trainer live over two way video. I have been using it for a few weeks now. It has been fantastic! I find it hard to stay motivated with just DVDs, so when I found out about Wello, I was so excited. Having a live trainer working out with you makes it so much easier.0

How about going on eBay to get insanity. But if you can't get it I suggest something like turbo fire it just as intense but cheaper or tapout xt.0

Blogilates is good, but maybe not the intensity you're looking for. Fitness Blender has some really excellent HIIT and Tabata style workouts.0

I have so many at this point but i have to say one of my favorite fun and not to expensive cardio is zumba fitness, i love it because you can do learn it first to get the steps down and then feel it where they don't cue you anymore, also tae bo is awesome i am always dripping with sweat after any of his workouts. The best Tae bo is Tae bo power that one is like non stop and i feel it and its fun at least for me it is. Jillian is also great she is pretty intense. Good luck to you0

Thanks to the person above who suggested Fitness Blenders. I have started doing their workouts every day and it is fabulous. I purchased the first set of workout plans. I haven't worked so hard in years! (Of course, you don't have to purchase the plan, you can do all the workouts you want for free! When you buy the workout plans, you receive a PDF download that outlines suggested combinations of workouts for 8 weeks, with three levels to choose from when you buy the PDF.)0

I recommend these guys, their videos are free, I use them 6 days a week and I love them for their honesty and the variety of routines and levels of difficulty. http://www.fitnessblender.com/
Edited to add...oops I didn't see that someone else already recommended them, so here's another fan of Fitness Blender0
