Mission Accomplished

Like most people, my weight just spiraled. I never really noticed. The scale just kept going up and up. There were house elves in my closet sewing my clothes tighter and tighter. One day I woke up and realized that enough was enough.
It took me about 4 months time, a whole lot of stress, and a lot of changes to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish.
Unlike most people, I never had a concrete number in my mind. I did, however, have a few goals that I wanted to achieve. I wasn't unrealistic with myself. I knew I'd never be back into my highschool body. But I DID believe that I could go back to what I was a few years prior.
1. I wanted to stop smoking cigarettes but not gain anymore weight. I, for the most part, did. (I'll smoke socially on occasion.) ► Check
2. I wanted to weigh less than my husband. I currently weigh 15lbs less than him. (Although, he's an inch taller than me and nothing but skin, bone, and muscle.)
► Check
3. I didn't want people to ask me how far along I was anymore. I haven't been asked that in a couple months.
► Check
4. I wanted to be back in "onederland."
► Yep. Check that off the list too.
Whelp. Mission accomplished. I know what you people come here for... so on with the pictures!
Once upon a time there was a girl who looked kinda like this. She had great legs, defined cheek bones, and a collar bone you could sink quarters into.
Then, that girl started gaining weight. And more, and more and more and more. It got ridiculous.
One day she said "Enough." She started eating healthier, making better choices, and walking a little bit. She started losing weight.
And then she lost 50lbs. She felt great. She signed up for a 5k. She had to go buy new clothes. And she lived happily ever after.
And for those wondering, I'm 6' tall. My highest weight was 270 (not pictured.) I'd lost it and gotten back down to around 180 (in the first pictures.) I jumped back up to 250. Now I'm holding the fort between 195-197. I'm not so much concerned with a number, but a shape. I went from being an apple shape to a pear, and now resembling an hour glass. I'm much healthier than I used to be. My next goals are to mainly tone up. My old goal to weigh less than my husband? Well now my new goal is to be able to pick my husband up. :flowerforyou:
ETA: Maybe photobucket will stop being ridiculous and accept my picture resizing. Bare with me.
