    I've always wanted to go as either Elvira or Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show...both slutty I suppose, but when you have been fat most of you adult life, slutty costumes become somewhat of a dream. lol

    Don't make an atrocious mask like the one above... Start with a regular dust mask (like $1.00 at Walmart) and run the little plastic tubes into that. It'll look a little less ridiculous. I've already started on a Bane mask for this year- it's gonna be awesome. Also, we're going to go to the local army/navy and get an old vest. The pants can be anything dark- no ones going to pay much attention to that. And the arm thing can be an old arm/wrist splint spray painted dark.
    I just can't justify spending as much as they want for "costume" stuff. It's always cheap crap anyways. I'd rather use my creativity!

    I know right? I was definitely KIDDING about the 2nd pic. LOL I posted that one because if I was going to make a Bane costume I would not leave the house looking like that!! But I am seriously considering making one. As you said a lot of the items that I have seen on other homeade ones look like army/navy type of materials. Vests, Cartridge Belt, Pants, Boots. The Mask will be the real challenge. If you come across any sites that give tips to make the mask, please PM me! Thanks!:flowerforyou:

    My husband has wanted to go as Master Chief from Halo and have me go as Cortana since we started dating!!!!

    I don't think it's going to happen this halloween...but maybe next year???

    This year we were toying with the idea of Amy and Rory from Doctor Who :)

    Not really sure about this year. The last 2 years I was a "pregasaurous". Made a shirt with dino arms and a pregnant dino belly LOL. This year, I'm thinking zombie or a cheetah.

    That was my costume in grade 12!

    It's so hard to find non-slutty, fun costumes for women. Something about slutty nurse/wench/school girl just isn't appropriate for trick-or-treating with my 5 year old!

    I usually do something pop culture like. so far thinking something sharknado like. I just don't know how I would pull if off. Maybe make a long pencil skirt and have the top come up to make it look like i'm being eaten, yet still walking around.

    The only costume I have is a cheerleader. I was not a cheerleader in high school so this is my way of acting out!! I even bought the costume to be in my school colors! It isn't slutty but it shows the legs and arms...

    I really wanted to be the Joker and Harley Quinn with my boyfriend, but not this year... maybe next year once I hopefully hit my goal and can rock the skin tight costume.

    Last year I was a sexy cop and he was my prisoner.... but this year... I don't know yet. Browsing for ideas. Maybe nurse and her patient? :D

    I know its 2013, but this takes me back to 1993. We were a family which was hard pressed for money, so my mom made me into a witch with a trash bag and some of her old eye-shadow. Thought I was the sh**. Looking back on it, I was sh**.

    I'll be a hippie... Sadly I own enough clothing that fits right in to the theme.... bought a vest with tassles and some hippie like jewellery though.

    Good thing about it is that you can be as slutty or modest as you want :)
