Hi All! I have lost weight before and now I am trying again. I am really focused on staying... well healthy as hell! But its hard! I just get these cravings! I've been fulfilling them with lower calorie substitutes, but its still hard. I live with my mother and sister and they are not into buying the most healthy food... although she is getting better about it! DOes anyone know how to "kick the cravings" and "stay on track"? That'd be so helpful! I just wanna know what you do/did to alleviate your mind from food cravings, and i how you have been/stayed/staying on track!

I started doing what you are doing, finding healthier alternatives. If I'm craving chips, I go for organic veggie "chips", same crunch, and pretty tasty. Same with chocolate, when I'm craving that I grab some high quality dark chocolate, super rich so I only have a tiny bit, I stick the rest in the freezer to keep from mindlessly munching on it otherwise. ;-)
Trial and error, find what works for you, some people need to have access to their crave foods or they'll go out and binge, other people need to have all the crave foods out of sight/house or they'll binge. I tend to be more the former.
