That cleared it up for me a tiny bit!!
Other than that, its a pretty neat website.0 -
BMR (basal metabolic rate) represents the calories that you would expend lying in bed all day (breathing, pumping blood, digesting food etc etc)
TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) - the total calories you expend daily including your BMR plus physical activity
Using the Harris Benedict equation you multiply BMR by a factor appropriate for your activity level eg sedentary is BMR x 1.2
