Ok so here's the deal,
at the beginning of the year I got motivated and decided I was gonna change my overweight life and get in shape. I lost 15lbs and then all motivation left me. It was my last semester of school, I was juggling 3 jobs, 18 hrs in school, and volunteering on Fridays.. so yeah.. no wonder my motivation to workout and eat better left me.
But school passed.. and two months later I realized I gained all of that weight back.. and this time I'm serious.
I am changing my lifestyle, exercising, and eating better. Many of my friends on here went MIA for months so I cleaned a lot of the inactive people out and am now looking for more friends
I am always happy to give advice (I've been studying health like a madwoman) and criticism (as I need some too lol). And of course I am always here to MOTIVATE!
Feel free to comment on here and/or add me as a friend. I love meeting new people
Thanks for reading!

I am fairly new to MFP and have been a spotty user. Mainly because I haven't wanted to add any friends (I am pretty private). Recently I decided to get into it full steam and figured community groups/friends would be a great way to get around that hurdle
I am a 41 year old mother of 4. I also have a demanding full time career. I am an avid exerciser and have managed to maintain my goal weight until about 9 months ago. I would love to blame it on turning 40 but I won't Through job stress and such, I have gained about 14 pounds - ugh! I would love to be part of this group to receive and give motivation/support/advice. Is this a formal group that required joining or is this all we need to do? Also, might be a good idea to add each other as friends so we can see more info around progress.
Nice to 'meet' you!0 -
Added you both! Thanks so much!0

I could do with some friends on this as well! Currently only share diaries with my girlfriend, but as we spend so much time together during summer we often eat the same! So some other motivational friends would be good.
I'm a student also, currently about 28hrs a week so i understand not having time!
New friends would be welcome!0 -

Hi, I am around the same height and age (24). I work full time, go to school part time, and am also looking for motivational friends! Thanks!0

Working 60 hours a week, with 15 hours of school, been doing this for about 2 years now. Cannot wait till I grad in about a month.
I may be a lil older but I hear ya pain.
I got motivated after I realized that I was unhappy, got to 250lbs, so I decided to make changes. Sacrificed alot, as I love eating out alot and my video games. Made plans and improve time management to get things in order and this is were I am at now, at 188 lbs!
You can do this and we are all here to motivate you, just make a plan and stick to it.
Oh and feel free to add me.0 -

I have found since I have been back on MFP I love reading the encouraging word and words of praise from complete strangers - it is really helpful to get an atta girl each day. and the helpful hints and tips I have picked up are great. I have type 2 diabetes and I am not able to exercise as I should do to other health issues but the encouragement to keep my calorie goals in check has been amazing and since I have been back on MFP I am down 13 pounds in a couple of weeks and still going strong. I love reading the post each day. The journal and accountability really help keep you calories in check (big brother might be watching) but they offer hugs and support! Know that you can do this.0

I am here each and every day.
It is nice when your friends hold you accountable and give you the extra nudge you need to keep you going.
I will be 42 next week and I have 30lbs left until I am at goal weight.
Feel free to add me, if not, enjoy your friendships and journies.
Cheers0 -
I have added all of you beautiful people
