200 cal ideas please?

for some reason i'm still under my 1200 calorie goal today by 200 calories. it was more but i've just had a chopped apple with soya yoghurt and some hemp protein.

    Do you have almonds or nuts of some kind? A spoon of peanut butter?

    My go to is almonds and blueberries mixed together. Or, I will eat a boiled egg sandwich with a little light mayo and one slice of bread.

    yes, i did buy some flaked almonds - they'll do. thank you :) (aren't they really high in fat though?)
  • Dark Chocolate. Avocado (homemade guacamole). Perhaps a homemade smoothie. Good luck.

    Nut are high in fat, but dietary fat doesn't make you fat. Eating above maintenance calories makes you fat.

    the reason i asked is that it would make the figure for fat over on my daily intake. does that not really matter?

    Are you always under calories? Are you hungry? If both answers are no, then end the day being 200 short. Being a little low some days and a little high others is actually good for your progress because it makes your body not go 'okay...I get exactly 1200 calories each day, so lets plan accordingly'. Just like how your body gets used to exercise routines if you don't mix it up (and your body doesn't burn as much), it is the same if you are too consistent with your net calories.

    i've only been on here a couple of weeks but all days except one i have been slightly under 1200. i do feel hungry now but that may be because i've been searching for something to eat!! i'm not able to exercise a lot (CFS and fibromyalgia) so my exercise is usually yoga based.
