Ripe watermelon tips

look for a big yellow circular pattern on the bottom, watermelon does NOT ripen after picking.This means the melom was left to ripen.
Choose a melon that looks dull not shiny
look for a withered stalk that is brown and dead, This means it was ripe when picked.

    Np, I love a juicy watermelon and am enjoying one right now. Since learning these tips I have not chosen a dissapointment yet!

    Big yellow spot is #1 been following that for years. Just had such an amazing watermelon yesterday that I ate the whole thing in 2 days hahaha! (ok the kids had 1 small piece each lol)
    But yes, the brighter the yellow and and the duller the green!!! mmmmm Thanks!
