I started a new workout program, training with my brother, and the number on the scale was NOT budging. I tried to wait it out - I read about how many people gain weight after they start running because of water retention. I weighed myself on different scales to see how they compared. I took a good look at my calorie intake and considered changing it. I did measurements. I complained to everyone who would listen. This went on for like, 2 weeks.
Stepped on the scale this morning and thought, "ugh, no weight loss AGAIN!" And then remembered ... my old weight was in the 170s ... this weight, and many of my other weights this week, have been in the 160s ...
So yeah. I forgot the second number on the scale and thought I had gained weight, when really I had lost like 7 pounds. Dur.

It took me wuite a while before I caught up with where the needle was on the scales. I'd look straight at where it used to be and then wonder where it was - oh yes, a little bit to the left!0

I have done that too, but on a DIGITAL scale. I lost weight pretty quick for awhile, and would occasionally forget my previous weight. LOL0

Yeah, it WAS a digital scale! I am really just that spaced out this week! I had weighed in at 173, and then it climbed (so I thought) to 178. But it actually said 168. It took me several days of this before I noticed today, that 165 is close to the 150s ... and then I was like, "wait, 150s? But last week I was in the 170s... OH WAIT!"0 -
LOL! Great job!0

Yay for our blonde moments. They always make me laugh
I remember I stepped on my ex mom in law's scale once and was in total shock I suddenly lost 20 lbs. Turned out because she was so heavy she had to set the scale a bit back (old one with that needle thing), else it couldn't weigh her *oops*0
